Lithuanian diplomat's body returned home

VILNIUS - The body of Lithuanian diplomat and state security officer Vytautas Pociunas, who died mysteriously in Belarus on Aug. 23, was transported to Lithuania last night.
Pociunas, an adviser at the Lithuanian consulate general in Grodno, died during his business trip in Brest in early hours of Aug. 23. The diplomat's body was discovered next to a hotel building. Pociunas, 48, is believed to have fallen out of the hotel window.
Lithuanian Prosecutor General Algimantas Valantinas said that, in order to establish the exact cause of the diplomat's death, it was necessary to investigate all versions and carry out many probes.
A prosecutor of the Organized Crime and Corruption Investigation Department of the Lithuanian Prosecutor General's Office is taking part in the investigation of circumstances behind Pociunas' death.
