Is Estonia really a Nordic country? The Female Factor

Some years ago the then-foreign minister of Estonia made headlines by asking “Who the f..ck are the Balts?” Later on he became the country’s president! This shocking phrase raised the real question, one of identity - are Estonians Baltic or Nordic? In this context it is interesting to examine the female factor.
