Agrimin to discuss exports of Lithuanian products in Dubai

VILNIUS – Lithuanian Minister of Agriculture Giedrius Surplys will discuss the exports of Lithuanian food products during his Dubai visit.

The minister is scheduled to meet with his UAE counterpart Thani bin Ahmend Al Zeyoudi during an international food and beverage exhibition in Dubai.

"Possibilities and measures to promote the opening of the UAE market to Lithuanian foods products will be discusses with him, and also further cooperation possibilities will be touched upon," the ministry told BNS Lithuania.

Moreover, the Lithuanian minister will also attend a bilateral meeting with representatives of the UAE's Authority for Standardization Metrology to discuss Halal certificates and other export-related issued.

The Lithuanian agriculture minister is visiting the Gulfood 2019 exhibition on February 18-19.
