RIGA - The fifth group of students began their study process at the Latvian airline’s airBaltic Pilot Academy today, September 2, 2019. The fifth group of 13 students will become airBaltic pilots upon completion of the full-time programme in less than two years from now.

Pauls Cālītis, airBaltic SVP Flight Operations: “We are proud that this is already the fifth group of students at the Latvian airline’s Pilot Academy, and this is a second group with two female students. We have worked hard to offer opportunities for students to benefit greatly while learning from the first-hand experience of our professional instructors, especially now as we have a fully equipped hangar under construction for our modern training aircraft at International Airport Liepaja and completed an order of additional Diamond Aircraft to support the continued growth of our training capabilities.”

Already this October the first students will graduate the program and join airBaltic as pilots. Meanwhile, the winter group of airBaltic Pilot Academy will begin their studies in November. For more information and applications, please visit: http://pilotacademy.com.
