Baltic chief prosecutors discuss breaches of Russia sanctions

VILNIUS - The prosecutors general of Lithuania, Latvia and Lithuania discussed issues arising as part of the investigation of crimes related to violations of the international sanctions against Russia and Belarus, as well as sanctions evasion schemes, at their annual meeting in Lithuania on Thursday.

Lithuania's Prosecutor General Nida Grunskiene, Latvia's Prosecutor General Juris Stukans and Estonia's Prosecutor General Andres Parmas also discussed the implementation of the law on the protection of whistleblowers.

Baltic chief prosecutors have been meeting annually since 1993.
