Estonian fencer Novosjolov loses in Rio quarter finals

Estonian fencer Nikolai Novosjolov was dropped from the competition in men's epee quarter finals at the Rio Summer Olympics when Hungarian Imre Geza defeated him 9-15 to on Tuesday.

Novosjolov advanced to the quarter finals by beating Venezuelan Francisco Lima 15-12 in his second fight. Previously he had won Kyoungdoo Park of South Korea 12-10 in the opening round.
