Estonia planning to enter open market with Eesti Teed before privatisation

The Estonian state is planning to enter the open market with the road service company AS Eesti Teed in 2018 before its privatisation in all of the company’s operating areas and at the same time the company will take part in procurements in other areas with a goal to win as many of these as possible. “Based on previous experience with privatisation as well as the market situation, a decision has been reached that it would be most rational and beneficial for the state to privatise AS Eesti Teed with effective long-term maintenance contracts,” it is written...
