TALLINN - Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna participated in the Westphalian Peace Conference in Münster, Germany, on Friday, where he stressed that Europe must build self-confidence.
Tsahkna participated in a discussion dedicated to European security with German journalist Eva Lindenau, where he emphasized that Europe must become more confident and stronger, and welcomed the decision of a growing number of European countries to increase defense spending.
At a meeting with Hendrik Wüst, minister-president of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, the main topics discussed were the promotion of economic cooperation between Estonia and Germany, as well as issues related to the security of the two countries.
