Estonian PM to meet with next president of European Council

TALLINN – Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal will meet with António Costa, the next president of the European Council, in Tallinn on Wednesday.

The meeting at Stenbock House will discuss the challenges facing the European Union and the European Council's role in resolving them.

Costa was the prime minister of Portugal from Nov. 26, 2015 until April 1 this year. In the past, Costa has held ministerial positions on several occasions. From 2007 to 2015, he was the mayor of Lisbon.
