An Iraqi migrant family, which were the first to arrive in Lithuania under the European Union's refugee resettlement programme last December, is suing the Migration Department for not granting them refugee status.
The family, which has been granted legal protection instead of refugee status, has filed a complaint against the Migration Department's decision, Evelina GudzinskaitÄ—, acting head of the department confirmed to DELFI.
