Viaceslav Titov, a member of the City Council of Klaipeda, breached the oath when he accused Lithuanian partisan commander Adolfas Ramanauskas-Vanagas of killing peaceful civilians, the Lithuanian Supreme Administrative Court ruled on November 26.
The court looked at Titov's statement that the partisan commander was responsible for the killing of 8,000 innocent civilians.
This marks the first time that Supreme Administrative Court has issued a ruling unfavorable to the defendant in an impeachment case.
