Latvian, Lithuanian foreign ministers to visit frontier station on Belarus border

VILNIUS, Aug 26 (LETA--BNS) - Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braze and her Lithuanian counterpart, Gabrielius Landsbergis, are visiting the Adutiskis frontier station on Lithuania's border with Belarus on Monday.

As part of the annual consultations between the Latvian and Lithuanian Foreign Ministries, Braze and Landsbergis will discuss bilateral and international issues, will be shown border control equipment, and will answer questions from journalists, according to the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry.

The commanders of the two neighboring countries' state border guard services - Guntis Pujats and Rustamas Liubajevas - will brief the ministers on the border protection measures in place and bilateral cooperation.

Braze last visited Lithuania in May.
