Monday November 2, 2015, saw Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius sign a book of condolences at the Russian Embassy in Vilnius, over the Russian airline crash in Egypt.
"In Lithuania, the news of the airplane disaster in Egypt caused great distress,” wrote Linkevicius. “I convey my sincere condolences to the families and friends of those killed.
We mourn together with you. We wish you resilience.
En route from Egypt to St. Petersburg, the passenger airliner crashed on October 31 over Sinai. All 224 persons onboard were killed.
