VILNIUS – Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda is set to meet with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, participate in a conference, and receive an award from the weekly magazine L'Express in Paris on Monday.

The two presidents will discuss the geopolitical situation in the region, support for Ukraine, and the need for the rapid development of Europe's security and defense industry, Nauseda's office has said in a press release.

During his visit to Paris, Nauseda will also participate in the L'Express conference entitled The Clash of Powers, the Challenge of Intelligence, where he will address an audience of 700 French leaders from politics, business, academia, culture, and media.
