Thankfully, the bloated mess of a socialist EU constitution is dead! Rather than another layer of costly and oppressive bureaucracy, the Baltics will be free to work with other nations as good neighbors while doing what they think is best for themselves.Socialism has been tried many times and has never worked to make things better. In general, less government and lower taxes leads to more happiness, more freedom and more prosperity. There will always be rich and poor, but freedom raises the general wealth of a nation and allows people who may at one point in their life be poor to improve their circumstances. Socialism always results in widespread oppression by costly, massive and obnoxious bureaucracy.
