PM talks about EU in Paris

VILNIUS - Prime Minister Rolandas Paksas took Lithuania's case for European Union membership to France, reminding his hosts in Paris that his country is asking for nothing more than the right to take the humble first step of starting membership talks."We are doing everything to have Lithuania conform to the high standards of European Union members," said Paksas during his visit Sept. 9.
