Latvia LASCO infuriated over spread of its commercial info in media

RIGA (BNS) - State-owned Latvian shipping company Latvijas Kugnieciba's management voiced indignation over the fact that commercial information of the company viewed as confidential has been distributed by media and distorted, according tthe company.

The indignation was expressed in statement distributed to media Feb. 28 by LASCO's advertizing and public relations service in a reaction to information published by media about a LASCO working group's report on LASCO freight contract and the assessment of work of the company's trustees in its subsidiaries.

"Thus has been created a precedent when LASCO has violated international business ethics in front of its cooperation partners and clients," LASCO said.
