FINAL WORDS

My final words on the Bronze Statue: My two daughters came past the old resting place on the trolley back from their dance lessons. Triin said, "Daddy, the Russians have made the ugly fence look so beautiful by putting flowers all over it." I tried not to dampen her enthusiasm and said that some people find history too heavy a burden to carry, and that perhaps we could also do the same. Looking through the eyes of my children certainly puts life into perspective.
