The ESPAD 2007 international study has found that teenagedrug use steadily increased over the past year.
Four years earlier 24 percent of respondents admitted having used narcotics,the National Institute for Health Development said.
Some 34 percent of respondents found that cannabis was easily obtainable and26 percent reported that ecstasy was easy to obtain. Both figures represent asharp increase over a similar study conducted in 2003.
The health institute is set to launch a campaign aimed atreducing young people's interest in experimenting with illicit drugs.
