RIGA - More than 1,000 motorcyclists have gathered in from of the Latvian parliament building to hold a protest over a proposed increase to the motorcycle tax, LETA reported.
Parliament has approved an increase of the tax on motorcycles from the current three lats to 24 lats annually.
Protesters placed a motocycle covered in black cloth outside the building - as well as a destroyed car nearby - as part of the demonstration.
