Businessman slain in Salaspils

SALASPILS - Latvian businessman and member of the People's Party Vilnis Grivins has been murdered at his home in Salaspils, national news agency LETA reported.

The 54-year-old man was found in the backyard of his home, the victim of a violent death.

His wife has been hospitalized with serious injuries. Her present condition is unclear.
