Inheritance laws can tear families apart – and leave the deceased turning in their grave.

While the death of a relative is a tragedy in any family, the ramifications of the inheritance can create rifts between surviving family members that can take years to heal. Such family disputes can turn ugly quickly and the punitive impact of both taxes and inheritance laws in Finland often worsen matters.
