VILNIUS - Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite has asked the country's retailers to keep their prices low in an effort to get the economy back on track.
Food prices have risen by 30-40 percent for the end consumer year-on-year, despite the fact that average wages have been decreasing.
The president said that if she thought retailers were abusing customers, she would push for legislation to make their actions illegal.
