ARENA RIGA – Dinamo Riga has lost their first shootout of the 2011/2012 KHL season, falling to Dinamo Minsk 3-2 on Wednesday evening. Dinamo Riga opted to go with new members to the team Jamie Lundmark and Fredrik Warg for the first two shots in the shootout but the move would not come off as both failed to execute while Dinamo Minsk’s first three shots at the other end of the ice would all find their way past Chris Holt in goal.
