Grybauskaite appoints new interior minister

VILNIUS - Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite, after receiving all information about the candidate for the position of the minister of interior, signed a decree, according to which Arturas Melianas is appointed new minister of the interior.

The new minister's candidacy was proposed by Lithuanian Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius.
