Five kilograms of dynamite have been discovered in an attic in Riga sparking safety fears.
Police were called to an apartment block on Gertrudes Steet on Jan. 12 at around 4 p.m to discover the stash.
State Police evacuated the building whilst traffic was halted at the scene. Gertrudes has since been re-opened. Police are determining who owned the dynamite and its possible origin.
