Four people dead in road traffic accident

Four people have died in a car crash on the Riga-Tallinn highway in Vidzeme Province today, State Police say. 

The accident occurred on the intersection of the Tallinn Highway and the Duci-Limbazi road. Initial information indicates that a minibus blocked the way for a truck that was using the main road, causing a collision.

A nine-year old child was taken to hospital.
