Lithuania cruised past San Marino on Monday night after beating them 2-0 away from home.
Goals from Matulevicius and Novikovas secured the victory for the Lithuanians in a largely one sided affair. San Marino managed one shot on goal compared to Lithuania's 12 shots.
There was joy elsehwre in the Baltics after Estonia beat Slovenia 1-0 in Tallinn on Monday. A late goal from Purje secured the win for the Estonians after Slovenia had Stevanovic sent off late in to the game.
Latvia take on Kazakhstan this evening at 19:00 Baltic time. Lithuania take on Estonia in Vilnius on October 9.
