Tallinn airport to open Dec. 12

TALLINN (BNS) - The main building of the Tallinn airport, under major reconstruction for more than a year, will open its doors on Dec. 12, said Sven Ratassepp, deputy marketing director of the airport company.The former two-story building has been expanded to three stories, with separate facilities for business class, a restaurant with a terrace, conference rooms, shops and a car rental.The reconstructed passenger terminal has floor space of 14,300 square meters, an increase of nearly 15 percent.The airport's annual capacity now is 1.4 million passengers.
