Primekss unveils waterproof and self-restoring concrete additives production lines

  • 2024-10-08

On 11 October 2024 at 12.00, at “Eimuros”, Ādaži municipality, “Primekss” Ltd will officially open the new concrete additives production plant and two new production lines of "PRIMX" brand: the innovative waterproof and self-restoring concrete technology, as well as the shrinkage stabilization system. This strategically important step will not only strengthen the company's position in the global market but will also significantly contribute to the development of the construction industry by providing technologically advanced solutions that will increase the sustainability of buildings and extend their life cycle.

Waterproof concrete is a high-quality material that offers sustainable protection against moisture and water ingress, providing excellent airtightness and increased durability. This solution is ideal for the construction of industrial buildings as well as infrastructure facilities where a special importance is attached to watertightness.

Shrinkage Stabilising System is a two-component concrete mix specifically designed to reduce autogenous and drying shrinkage in concrete mixes. This mix improves the performance of industrial concrete floors by effectively reducing cracking and spalling.

Jānis Ošlejs, owner and general director of “Primekss” Ltd, emphasizes that by producing the additives ourselves, we are responsible for all stages of project implementation, ensuring full-cycle responsibility. With the opening of the production plant, our additives will be available to a wider market, offering waterproof, shrinkage-stabilizing concrete additives.

The event will be attended by construction professionals - engineers, real estate developers, architects as well as individuals and companies. Participants will have the opportunity to actively participate in discussions to promote further technological developments in the sector.
