Latvia’s leading investment bank, Signet Bank, supporting the development of the Baltic real estate market, has provided EUR 10 million in financing for the construction of the Žygimantų 12 residential building in Vilnius Old Town. The project is being developed by real estate company RE Excellence, with a total investment of EUR 28 million. Construction is scheduled for completion by the end of 2025.

RE Excellence is one of the leading real estate developers in Vilnius, specializing in high-quality projects in the most attractive areas of the city, including the Old Town. The company's portfolio includes more than 20 completed projects with a total volume of over 1,500 apartments.

The Žygimantų 12 residential building will offer a total area of 9,100 square meters and comprise 54 apartments ranging from 39 to 250 square meters. The development will also include four commercial spaces with sizes between 43 and 300 square meters.

The project is designed to meet premium standards, featuring an A+ energy efficiency certification, concierge services, an underground parking garage with e-vehicle charging stations, exclusive interior design in stairwells, and sustainable solutions for heating, cooling, and ventilation. A historic wine cellar with preserved masonry is one of the unique highlights of Žygimantų 12, making it an outstanding investment in the high-end real estate segment.

"Real estate development is a key driver of economic growth in the Baltic region, and Signet Bank is proud to be part of this progress. Over the past years, we have actively supported significant business development projects for Latvian companies, providing both corporate financing and capital market instruments, including bond and equity financing. We are now delighted to expand our collaboration to Lithuanian companies. The Žygimantų 12 project is a prime example of how a high-value real estate development can enrich the urban environment while offering a modern, sustainable, and exclusive living space. We will continue working with ambitious entrepreneurs, developers, and investors to foster a sustainable and dynamic Baltic region," said Roberts Idelsons, Chairman of the Management Board at Signet Bank.

"Although construction is still ongoing, Žygimantų 12 is already one of the most eye-catching projects in the center of Vilnius. Clearly visible in the wide riverbank panorama, the building is right next to the bridge connecting the old and modern parts of the city.  The project itself is a blend of respect for the spirit of the Old Town and the latest construction technologies. High-quality, ambitious projects are what set us apart in the market. When looking for a financing partner, we realized that Signet Bank operates with similar values, so I am confident that this agreement is the beginning of a long-term cooperation," said Inga Navickaite, CEO of RE Excellence.
