RIGA - Russia aims to weaken the United States (US), its influence in the world and its alliances, Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braze (New Unity) said in a social media post on Saturday.
Russia attacked Ukraine on Friday night with 88 drones, 56 of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defenses, the Ukrainian Air Force said on Saturday. A medical warehouse was also hit.
Commenting on the incident, Braze said the Kremlin is "openly laughing" at US efforts to achieve a lasting peace and end Russian aggression. She adds that Russia's policy is one of conventional and sub-conventional war.
