TALLINN - A Russian drone strike hit the apartment building in Kyiv where Estonian Ambassador Annely Kolk resides, public broadcaster ERR reports.
The ambassador was unharmed and can continue residing in the building. During an eight-hour air raid alert on Thursday night, the ambassador and her husband initially took shelter in the basement. Believing the attack was over, they eventually returned to their apartment on the upper floors.
"However, the drones continued to fly and attack, and our building was hit as well," Kolk said. She explained that the drone strike, which occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. caused no casualties, as the top floor of the building was unoccupied at the time.
